The next phase of MUD - The Story of Things began in spring 2014.

Over eight weeks, we will engage 60 Yr 5 pupils from St Matthew's Primary School in Cambridge in playful workshops of creative writing to animate seemingly everyday objects culminating in an art installation at The Factory in the school playground.

Children from other local schools will then have the opportunity to take part in artist-led creative writing workshops at The Factory as part of the Cambridge Literary Festival on 5 April.  Places are still available for children aged 7+

Workshops:

10.30am - 12.30pm

2pm - 4pm

To book a place, please email: ros@cambridgeliteraryfestival.com

Cost: £1.00

All children need to be accompanied by an adult (adults do not require a separate ticket)

The art installation will be open to the public during the Festival, inviting parents, children and the local community to celebrate the children's creativity.

The Story of Things is a collaboration between 30 Bird, public works and Aid and Abet

We are grateful to our funders: Arts Council England, Cambridge City Council and Cambridgeshire County Council.
