30 Bird is an award winning performance company based in Cambridge, England. Each one of our projects is unique - no one project taking the same form as another - and often exploring global issues pertinent to contemporary society.
Our roots lie in visual theatre with the company's early work presented at venues such as the Riverside Studios, Lyric Hammersmith, Birmingham Rep, The Traverse Edinburgh, Cambridge Junction and Warwick Arts Centre. In recent years our practice has shifted to creating outdoor, site-specific, interdisciplinary performance projects that create unique experiences for audiences.
30 Bird’s creative process is a collaborative one working with practitioners from a variety of disciplines: architecture, science, the visual arts, dance, music, theatre and film. Our work has an international flavour, collaborating with artists and practitioners from as varied a background as the UK, Iran, Germany, Italy, Poland, India, Japan and Turkey.
